Polls Shift: Delta Readjust 2018/2019 School Calender

Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Chiedu Ebie

Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary education had readjusted the 2018/2019 school calendar due to the change in the dates of the 2019 general elections.

The Director of Information, Paul Osahor JP, in a statement, today, urged school heads and proprietors to comply with the directive.

The reviewed school calendar is as follows;

Mid Term Break: Monday February 18 to Monday February 25, 2019.

Tuesday February 26, 2019, all schools to resume teaching and learning.

Friday March 8, 2019, Schools to be closed

Tuesday March 12, 2019, all schools to resume teaching and learning.
