Ashibogwu, Tonukari, Tilije Inducted into Fellowship Of Academy Management of Nigeria

Three commissioners in Delta State, including the Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, have been inducted as Fellow of the Academy Management of Nigeria
Other commisioners inducted during the 19th Annual International Conference/AGM at the Southern Delta University, Ozoro, on Wednesday by The Academy of Management Nigeria (TAMN) were the Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari and his counterpart in the Ministry of Finance in the state, Sir Fidelis Tilije.
Speaking to journalists shortly after his conferment with the award of Fellowship, Dr. Ashibogwu thanked the President of the Academy, Prof. Seth Jaja and its members for finding him worthy as a Fellow of the Academy.
He pledged his loyalty and necessary support to the academy.
Ashibogwu also thanked the Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for appointing him into office to serve humanity.
His words: “This is a rare privilege, I will not take for granted.
“I thanked the academy for honouring me and His Excellency, the Governor for appointing me into a public office to serve humanity.
“All the commitment accrued to this honour, I will do and give my very best when and wherever it is needed,” Ashibogwu said.
In his remark, the Chairman of the conference and Vice-Chancellor of the Southern Delta University, Prof Jacobs Oboreh, thanked the organisers for giving him the privilege to host and to preside over the annual conference.
Prof Oboreh ascribed the development strides in the Southern Delta University to the full autonomy granted it by the State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to pilot the university without any form of interference.
Earlier, the President of the academy ,Prof Jaja, stated that the conferment of the Fellowship to the awardees was based on extensive and rigorous examination of the individuals to ascertain their worthiness.
“It is worthy to note that those to be conferred with Distinguished Honorary Fellow and Fellows of the Academy are drawn from a pool of influential scribbrs in administration and management in the public and private sector,” Prof Jaja said.
