Shun Cohabitation, Marry , Nwaokobia Urges Individuals

The Chairman of Umuobodo youths in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Ikechukwu Iroko Nwaokobia has urged young men and women to shun cohabitation and get married in order to attract the blessings of God.

 

Nwaokobia stated this in Okpanam during his traditional marriage ceremony with his wife , Mrs. Victoria Nwakuwa-Nwokobia .

 

He said that he was happy that his dream of getting married to the woman he has so much love for had come through, adding that marriage makes man and woman complete and responsible.

 

While saying cohabitation was a sin to God, Nwaokobia described his wife as an asset to her family, him and the community in general.

 

The Ikejiani of Okpanam and the CEO of Felinco Motors, Chief Felix Okafor described marriage as the oldest institution on earth, urging the couple to love each other unconditionally and do everything together.

 

Okafor also explained that marriage requires a lot of perseverance and tolerance, just as he implored the couple to always have trust in God and congratulated them.

 

Earlier, the Chairman of Obodogba youths, Comr. (Engineer) Chukwuma Abumujor told the newly married couple to love each other at all times and avoid keeping secret from each other.

 

Abumujor enjoined the groom to be patient and carry his people, especially the youths along in the scheme of things as the Chairman of Umuobodo youths .

 

In their separate remarks, the Iyase Onowu of Obodogba Quarters, Okpanam, Chief Emeka Dunkwu, Comrade Iloba Ujeze and the elder sister to the bride , Mrs. Ebele Chiemeke advised the couple to embrace their marriage with the fear of God and desist from third party influence in the union and always communicate with each other.

 

Dunkwu particularly described Comrade Nwokobia as a humble, peaceful, respectful and dependable youth leader, even as they wished the couple God’s blessings and wisdom to apply at all times to make their successful.
