Eboka Celebrates Christmas Carol With Teachers, Students, Tasks Teachers On Commitment, Rewards Outstanding Teachers, Non-Teaching Staff

Government Model Secondary School, Asaba has organized the 2025 Christmas Carol and end of year party with a call on teachers and non teaching staff of the school to redouble their commitment towards the uplifment of the education system.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Mrs. Obiajulu C. Eboka, who made the call during the ceremony, lauded the teachers and students of the school for their efforts in sustaining the standard the school.

Eboka said that the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori had continued to prioritize the educational development of the state, stressing that there was need for teachers to reciprocate the gesture such that it would reflect on the learning outcome.

She stated that the Christmas Carol was designed to celebrate themselves in line with the spirit of the season as they approached the end of the year.

Eboka reminded her teachers and students that as they had come together to sing, dance and appreciate God , they should note that the end of the year was a time to reflect on their achievements, growth and accomplishments .

The Principal urged them not forget that the message of Christmas was focused on our Lord Jesus Christ who was born into the world to die for the sake of mankind , saying that there was need to reconcile with Him to receive salvation.

She appreciated the teachers and students for their unwavering support and dedication throughout the year 2025. 

Eboka explained that some of them would be recognized for their exceptional work in the school in the area of discipline, punctuality and attendance to classe as well as their commitment in carrying out their duties as a form teacher and supervisor.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of awards to deserving teachers and non teaching staff.
