NUJ Delta Felicitates Otu, Oromonokpaye on Elevation to Knights of Saint Mulumba

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has congratulated Sir Dennis Otu and Sir Joseph Oromonokpaye on their admission into the Knights of Saint Mulumba.

The colourful investiture ceremony was held in Uromi, where the duo, alongside their spouses, were admitted as First Degree Knights into the prestigious Catholic Order.

Both inductees currently serve as Senior Special Assistants on Media to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and are respected practitioners within the journalism profession.

In a congratulatory message signed by State Council Chairman, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, and Acting Secretary, Comrade Josephine Omodior, the NUJ described the elevation as a reflection of proven integrity, spiritual devotion, and sustained service to both the Church and society. The Council also noted that the Order is globally recognised for promoting charity, discipline, unity, and loyalty to Catholic doctrine.

The Council further stated that the honour places greater responsibility on the new Knights as role models in governance, community leadership, and Christian living, expressing confidence that the recognition will strengthen their commitment to truth, fairness, and compassionate public service.

The  Council prayed for divine wisdom and grace upon the honourees and congratulated them and their families on the milestone.
