Nwaokobia Commends Tinubu, Oborevwori Over Second Niger Bridge Compensation

The Renewed Hope of Tinubu led Administration and the Delta State government have been commended for the proper demarcation of the land earmarked for the second Niger bridge bridge road around Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

 

Chairman of Umu-Obodo youths , Obodogba Quarters, Okpanam, Comrade Ikechukwu Iroko Nwaokobia made the commendaton in Okpanam while speaking with journalists.

 

He also appreciated President Tinubu for his magnanimity and the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Administration for facilitating the compensation for the original owners of the portion of land used for the project, adding that the people were now satisfied with the initiative

 

Comrade Nwaokobia recalled that his administration as the youth chairman of Umu-Obodo had drown government attention to do the needful and compensate his people.

 

While calling the state and federal governments to extend compensation to those that had not been compensated that would approach them for such compensation, Comrade Iroko Nwaokobia said that the gesture would give them a sense of belonging.

 

He stated that the second Niger bridge would impact Okpanam community and other users , emphasizing that the construction of the second Niger bridge was a step in the right direction.

 

Comrade Ikechukwu Iroko Nwaokobia used the medium to call on youths in the area to embrace peace and shun violence at all times, especially during and after the Okpanam new yam festival.
