Okwuofu, Other Community Leaders Praise School Principal For Uplifting Standard Of School

Obomkpa Community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State have lauded the principal of Obomkpa Mixed Secondary School, Mrs. Efemena Elizabeth Otakpor for her uncommon passion and determination towards sanitizing and transforming the school to an enviable height.
The immediate past chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission, Chief Dame Nkem Okwuofu , who stated this in Obomkpa, said that the principal had continued to give the school a facelift within a short period of time she was in charge.
Okwuofu urged Mrs. Otakpor to sustain her commitment to the improvement of the standards of the school, stressing that the principal had added so much value not only to the school but the community at large.
She said that the achievements of the principal had been observed by various stakeholders in the community, noting that the community had resolved to collaborate with her by playing critical role to ensure the growth of the school.
For his part, the President-General of Obomkpa Development Union, Hon. Emeka Bidokwu appreciated the principal for the innovations she had brought to the school, saying that she had demonstrated love for the school and the community.
Bidokwu called for more support for the principal to enable her succeed in improving the standard of the school for the benefits of the community.
The principal of Obomkpa Mixed Secondary School, Mrs. Efemena Otakpor while speaking during the Christmas Carol she organized in the school, promised to contribute her quota in uplifting the school and urged the students to take their studies seriously.
Otakpor also thanked the teachers for their cooperation and called for more support from them .
She said that the Christmas Carol was a period to appreciate God for the gift of life and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Highpoint of the ceremony was a cultural dance and display by the students of the school.
