Nwaokolukwu Celebrates Birthday, Urges Support For Less Privileged, Widows

A frontline woman leader and the pioneer treasurer of Okpanam Social Development Initiative, Mrs. Isioma Dunkwu-Nwaokolukwu, has stressed the need for well meaning individuals in the society to prioritize the welfare of the less privileged and widows by impacting on their lives.
Mrs. Nwaokolukwu made the call in Okpanam during her birthday celebration which was attended by notable personalities including her childhood friend, Lady Nkechi Patti Ogbechie, members of Okpanam Social Development Initiative and family members.
Speaking further, Mrs. Nwaokolukwu, who promised to sustain her gesture in putting smile on the faces of the needy, especially the widows and humanity in general, said that as a window herself, she shares in their pains.
She appreciated her elder sister, Mrs. Esther Anyasi , her children and other extended family members for being a great support for her .
Mrs. Nwaokolukwu explained that her membership of Okpanam Social Development Initiative was geared towards contributing her quota towards in uplifting the lives of the youths and help them achieve their potential.
She, however, called on youths in the community to shun drug abuse and focus on things that would add value to their lives and the society at large.
Earlier, her childhood friend, Lady Nkechi Patti Ogbechie, who hails from Amachai Quarters, Okpanam, described the celebrant as a kindhearted and a pillar of support to her and her child from the Dunkwu’s family.
While congratulating her on birthday, Lady Ogbechie said that the celebrant was a peace loving woman, whose passion to give back to the society was unequalled, adding that her tenacity, doggedness and open mindedness were commendable.
Ogbechie enjoined her not to relent in touching lives but continue with her laudable initiative, stressing that God Almighty would reward her beyond her expectations, just as she prayed God to strengthen her with good health and unqualified blessings.
She implored people of Okpanam community to embrace peace, unity and love for one another all times , emphasizing that meaningful progress could only occur in a peaceful atmosphere.
