The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ighoyota Amori, has congratulated Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on the successful commissioning of the Omadino Technical College, Warri South Local Government Area, describing it as yet another landmark in an administration defined by purpose, equity, and people-centred development.

In a statement by his Public Relations Officer, Joelson Wilson, on Monday, Senator Amori said the commissioning of the state-of-the-art technical college clearly reflects the Oborevwori administration’s commitment to empowering young people with practical skills and positioning Delta State for sustainable economic growth.

“The commissioning of Omadino Technical College is not just the opening of a school; it is the opening of opportunities for thousands of Deltan youths,” Amori said. “Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has once again demonstrated that his leadership is driven by vision, inclusion, and a deep understanding of the future needs of our state.”

He noted that the college, equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and practical learning facilities, aligns perfectly with the governor’s MORE Agenda, particularly in the areas of education, youth empowerment, and job creation.

Senator Amori recalled that the Omadino project is one of many transformational initiatives delivered within less than three years of Governor Oborevwori’s administration, citing the completion of the Trans-Warri Ode-Itsekiri Road as a critical infrastructure milestone that has improved connectivity, boosted commerce, and enhanced social integration in the coastal communities.

“From roads to schools, from healthcare facilities to urban renewal projects, Governor Oborevwori has ensured that development is not concentrated in one area, but fairly distributed across all parts of the state,” he said. “This equitable, commonwealth-driven approach to governance is why Deltans can see, feel, and point to projects that directly impact their lives.”

According to the Chief Adviser, several other projects are either ongoing or completed across the three senatorial districts, underscoring an administration that prioritises results over rhetoric.

He also commended the governor’s call for communities to protect public assets, describing it as a necessary partnership for sustainable development. “When citizens protect government projects, they protect their own future. The governor’s message to the people of Omadino is both timely and responsible,” Amori added.

Looking ahead, Senator Amori expressed confidence that the governor’s performance has laid a solid foundation for political stability and continuity.

“With visible projects spread across Delta State and a leadership style anchored on fairness and respect for institutions, the journey to 2027 will be smooth,” he said. “The people know where they were, they can see where they are, and they are confident about where they are going under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.”

He concluded by reaffirming his unwavering support to the governor’s development agenda, noting that education-driven investments like the Omadino Technical College will continue to shape a more prosperous and competitive Delta State.
