Delta PPEB Chairman, Tibi Hails Permanent Secretary For Clinching First Position In HOS 100-Day Challenge

The Executive Chairman, Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Prof. Emmanuel Tibi, has hailed the Permanent Secretary in charge of Post Primary Education Board in the Delta Central Senatorial District, Dr.(Mrs.) Awoke Ejedimu for clinching the 1st position in the Delta State Head of Service 100 -Day Challenge, describing her stellar performance as a demonstration of excellence, commitment and resilience.

Prof. Tibi in a statement on behalf of the Board and the entire teaching fraternity, said that Ejedimu had set a pace and standard of productivity worthy of emulation.

He explained that the 100-Day Challenge was an initiative of the State’s Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji , designed to ignite a measurable impact within the Delta State Civil and Public Service and congratulated Dr.(Mrs. Awoke Ejedimu for being a good ambassador of PPEB.

While saying that Ejedimu’s victory was a testament of the Board’s commitment towards advancing the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, Prof. Tibi stated that by fostering productivity and accountability, staff of PPEB are proving that the Delta State workforce are ready to compete at the highest level of administrative excellence.

Recalling that the 100-Day Challenge was organized between July 17 and October 27, 2025, where participants were tasked with initiating and documenting transformative projects within their respective departments, Prof. Tibi said that Ejedimu’s clinical execution, meticulous documentation and verifiable impact earned her the coveted first placed prize of N150,000 and a distinguished spot in the prestigious Book of Fame of the Office of the Head of Service.

The PPEB Chairman also congratulated the 1st runners up in the 100-Day Challenge, Mr. Desmond Osokpor , a teaching staff at the Ughelli zonal office of the Post Primary Education Board for showcasing uncommon brilliance and commitment.

Prof. Tibi stated that Ejedimu’s success was not just a personal milestone but a victory for the entire Delta State Post Primary Education Board, adding that her outstanding performance highlighted their commitment to impactful leadership and service delivery.

He stated that the Board under his watch was immensely proud to see one of their own leading the charge in boosting productivity in Delta State.
He further encouraged staff of the PPEB to emulate the diligent disposition of Dr(Mrs) Ejedimu and Mr. Desmond Osokpor, in order to bolster service delivery in the State.
