Natural Tips to Cure Stomach Ulcer
Stomach ulcers are painful sores in the stomach linings. It is also known as gastric ulcer.
It is a type of peptic ulcers disease that occurs when the thick layer of mucus that protects the stomach from digestive juices is reduced. This allows the digestive acids to eat away at the tissues that line the stomach, causing an ulcer.
Stomach ulcers may be easily cured, but they can become severe without proper treatment.
The most common symptom is a burning sensation or pain in the middle of the abdomen, between your chest and belly button.
Typically, the pain is more intense when the stomach is empty, and can last for a few minutes to several hours.
Dull pain in the stomach,weight loss, loss of appetite as a result of pains, nausea or vomiting,bloating, feeling easily full are all signs of stomach ulcer.
Other symptoms are heartburn, anemia and tarry stools.
The following steps can help in controlling the pains and severity this disease.
1. Stop taking fried foods or too oily meals.
2. Stay away from spicy food.
3. Stay away from hard and crunchy snacks.
4. Avoid carbonated drink. Take plenty of water instead, or drink youghurt.
5. Avoid minty sweet.Also do not take garri, or like eba.
1. Take plenty of water. Take at least a litre of water every morning when you wake up. Thus helps to dilute the acid your stomach may have secreted.
2. Eat swallows more with soup made with ewedu, okro, and less of melon.
3. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. E.g bananas, apples, watermelon, avocado, cucumber, carrots and cabbage. Orange are not good for ulcer patients.
4.Take apple cider vinegar(ACV). It treats heartburns and ulcer. Just add like 2tablespoons of it into a glass of water. It gives relief.
5. Eat in bits. A little at a time, so as to allow your stomach digest in bits.
6.Always have snacks like biscuits, banana, with you, so you can eat whenever you are hungry.
6. Do not consume too much nut (E.g groudnut, walnut, cashew nuts.) It may cause pains.
7. Never eat roasted corn. It is rough and can cause the ulcer to bleed, hence causing pain.
NATURAL REMEDIES
1. Grate like 8 unripe plantains in 4-5litres of water in a keg. Let it ferment for at least 48hrs. Take a cup at least 3 or 4 times a day, in the morning afternoon and night, and before u sleep. Its preferable if u take it an hour before meals and continue for about three week.
2. Cabbage juice has been found to heal ulcers too. It should be taken instantly for best results. Do not store the juice.
These natural remedies are goo but it does not mean you should stay away from your doctor.Make sure you have a doctor monitoring you.
