The former President of the United State of America George Herbert Walker Bush is dead
According to New York Post, the 41st president of the country died on Friday night at the age 94.
President Bush, a World War II naval pilot and Texas oil tycoon, was announced dead in a statement by his office.
“He was more than a great man; he was a good man,” Bush’s grandson George P. Bush wrote on Twitter.
“His courage was matched by his compassion; and his dedication to country was equaled only by his devotion to his family.”
Bush served two terms as vice president under President Reagan and served one term as president from 1989 to 1993. He also served as the CIA director in the 70s.
He is survived by his five children and 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
