Husband murders wife over disagreement in Delta

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected murderer, who killed his wife, at their apartment, at Ozoro.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Mohammed Ali made the disclosure during a press briefing held today, at Asaba, to showcase the recent achievements of the command.
He said ‘’ the DPO Ozoro received a distress call that on same date, the house of one Oghogho Olori ‘f’ aged 42years was visited by her younger brother who has not heard from her for some time, but he discovered that the door to the apartment was locked from outside which an offensive odour was emitting from the apartment.
“The DPO swiftly mobilized men who broke into the apartment and discovered that the victim has been murdered and the husband was nowhere to be found.
“The Command embarked on manhunt of the husband who was suspected to have committed the offense. Consequently, on 3/11/2022, the husband of the victim reported himself at the Police station and confessed to the crime stating that he murdered her over a disagreement. Investigation is ongoing.”
