Spokesperson of the Presidential Campaign Council of the PDP, Mr Charles Aniagwu, briefing Journalists, at Asaba, today

The Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has said that voting for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, could amount to slavery.

Spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa campaign council, Mr Charles Aniagwu, who made this known at a press conference, held at Asaba, stated that Tinubu is looking for ways to expand his ‘territorial control’ beyond Lagos State to the entire country.

Reacting to the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) saga on the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he accused the APC of seeking to distract Nigerians with unfounded Stories so as to enable the ruling party have their way at the forth coming elections.

Describing the author of the revelation as a blackmailer who does not have the interest of the country at heart, the spokesperson who is also the Commissioner of information, Delta State, noted that Mr Michael Achimugu was never an employee of Atiku.

He however urged Nigerians not to make the mistake of subjecting themselves to another form of slavery by the APC, saying that Atiku has what it takes to recover the country and place it on the part of growth and development.

“They cooked up stories because of course they have seen that our presidential candidate is actually winning the minds of Nigerians based on the conviction that Atiku Abubakar is a man that has got what it takes to recover this country and place it on the part of growth and development.

“And a blackmailer is not to be taken seriously.

“ We are urging Nigerians not to make the mistake of subjecting themselves to another slavery by the APC .

“What be is looking for is to expand his territorial control. A form of slavery. Go and ask those in Lagos.

“So Nigerians must stop Tinubu from crossing into the other States because it could amount to internal slavery for all of us where he alone will determine who becomes the next president. Where he alone will determine who gets what…

“So for such a person to want to now aspire to govern our country. You should know that it will be detrimental to country.

“We cannot bring back our slave masters to tell us how our means of production will be distributed.” He said.
