NASS Workers Commences Strike
The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), National Assembly chapter, today, commenced four days warning strike, in demand for better welfare if their members.
Politicsngr reports that the aggrevied workers barricaded all entrance to all the chambers while threatening to cut power supply.
The Chairman of the association, Mr Bature Mohammed, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, said the decision was reached in an emergency congress held on Dec. 14.
The chairman advised that all members of the association to stay away from their duty posts during the period.
The grievances of PASAN include a new condition of service for members, promotion and payment of 28 per cent increment in salary captured as contained in the 2018 budget
