Delta: Mother Gives Birth to Five Girls, Dies in FMC -Another Dilivers on Campaign Ground, Gets Okowa’s N2m

A pregnant woman gave birth to a set of five girls has died t the Federal  Medical Centre (FMC) Asaba in Delta state, out of shock and complications.

While the Public Relations officer of the hospital, one Mr Ogbogu, has described the incident as “unfortunate”, another woman yesterday gave birth to a bouncing by girl on the reelection campaign ground of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at Isiokolo in Ethiope East council ares of the state and got N2 million take-off grant from the Governor.

The woman was close to the campaign stand while she went into labour as people rallied her into the Mobile Emergency Van attached to the Governor and she was delivered of her daughter.

The woman who is a faithful party person came to catch a glimpse of the Governor and witness the campaign that for his reelection.

The Governor, who visited the woman after her delivery, promised to render necessary supports for the upbringing and training of the child for having the courage to come to the rally to support his course despite her condition.

At the rally at Obiaraku in Ukwuani council area of the state, Governor promised to consolidate on the gains of democracy brought about through his SMART agenda.

He urged the mammoth crowd of up porters to reject the enticement of opposition parties in the state but vote PDP candidates all the way.
