Polls: THE NEHIMS Project Elumelu’s Victory

A civil society group domiciled in Delta State has projected the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency, Hon Ndudi Elumelu, to emerge victorious at the upcoming general elections.

The forecast was made today, 14 February, 2019, during a press conference, in Asaba, organized by members of THE NEHIMS, to unveil the outcome of the pre-poll survey conducted by the group.

Apostle Victor Soroku, who is the spokesperson for the civil advocacy group stated that the search for credible political leadership as well as desirable public representation promoted their actions.

The spokesperson explained that  the well conducted process of the survey involved volunteers that were sent to  42 wards of the Federal constituency and distribution of confidential Questionnaires to five prospective voters  in each unit.

Accordingly to Sorokwu, the three selected flag bearers for the position includes ; Hon. Paul Adingwupu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Ify Vivian Nwabuoke for Accord Party (AP) and that of PDP.

” At the end of the exercise, Hon Ndudi Elumelu polled 60%, Hon. Paul Adingwupu had 37% and Hon. Ify Vivian Nwabuokei garnered 2%” he said.
