DSTG Suspend Head Teacher of Girl Sent Home Over Exam Fees

Delta State Commissioner for basic and secondary education, Mr Chiedu Ebie has annouced the suspension Mrs Veronica Igbigwe over alleged collection of illegal levies from students of Okotie-Eboh Primary School 1, in Sapele Local Government of the state.

Mrs Igbigwe, was suspended during the visit of the commissioner to the school, today, 18 March, 2018.

She was suspended following the viral video little Success Adegor that was sent home from school, over her parents’ inability to pay her examination levies.

Mr Ebie observed that the head of the primary school could not give explanations regarding monies collected from pupils of the public school.
