Police Command informs Deltans on recruitment exercise

Recruitment exercise for position of constables into the Nigeria Police Force has been announced by the Delta State Police  Command.

The command’s Police Public Relations Officer in Statement,tittled “Recruitment into Nigeria Police Force” on Tuesday, said “The Delta State Police Command wishes to notify residents especially Deltans that enlistment into Nigeria Police Force has commenced.

“The command therefore, invites applications from suitably qualified indigenes for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as police constables (Recruits)

“Applicant must possess the following:
1. All applicants must apply online
2. Where to apply is www.policerecruitment.gov.ng; you must have a functional email address/phone number and National identification before you begin with the application

“Note: you cannot use one particular email or NIN more than once for the application.
3. Nationality: must be a Nigeria citizen by birth
4. Age: Applicants must be between the age of 17-25 years
5. Educational background: Applicants must have minimum of 5 credits not more than two sittings for WASSCE,GCE,NECO NABTEB with credit pass in English and Mathematics
6. Eligibility both male and female (pregnant women are warn not to apply.)
7. Character: must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence
8. Height: must not be less than 1.67m for male and 1.64 for female
9. Physical attribute : Applicants must not have any of the following; speech impediment, bow legs, flat feet, defective eyesight, tattoo etc
10. Applicants must print their completed online forms and their guarantor forms and submit same at the examination/screening recruitment centers

“A. The online application will be open for six (6) weeks, from 14th July, 2020 to 23rd August 2020.
B. Applicants that meet requirements from the online registration will be invited for physical screening at all state commands from 24th -30th august 2020. Please note that this exercise will be strictly COVID 19 compliant.
C. The names of successful candidates will be publish in selected national news paper on 14th September 2020 and other platforms
