The Worthy Supreme Knight, Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, Sir Diamond Ovueraye, KSM has disclosed that Catholic Schools are not as expensive as Pentecostal Schools.

The Supreme Knight made the disclosure during a press breifing on the 41st Supreme Council Convention of the order of the Knight, at Asaba.

Reacting to a question on exorbitant school fees of Christian Schools in the country, Ovueraye said “what Catholic Schools are paying are almost at par with what Government Schools are paying”.

The deputy Supreme Knight of the Order, Dr Charlse Mbelede, added that Catholic Universities do not pay much compared to other Christian Universities because the Order subsidizes their fees to ensure smooth management of their activities.

The Supreme Knight noted that the yearly convention beginning today, (27/11/2020) is not a jamboree but an avenue to evaluate the past decisions  of the order with a view to providing better output.

The convention’s main theme is “ The Church and global challenges” while the sub theme is “ Peace and Security Challenges in the country”.
The 2020 convention will close on November 29.
