NSF : Delta Will Serve As Performing Centre to Train Aquatic Athletes – Aliyu

President of National Aquatic Federation, Chief Chinoye Aliyu has said that the sports facilities in Delta state will serve as performance centre for future aquatic athletes.
The president made this disclosure at Asaba, during the 2022 National Sports festival.
Expressing her satisfaction at the standard of swimming pools, Aliyu said which will be used to train and retrain atheletes internationally.
She noted that swimmers will continue to utilize complex immediately after the ongoing event, adding that the complex will also be used for the annual swimming competition that will involve all swimming federation, military and paramilitary.
On drug, she noted that the international body is monitoring the nutrition of swimmers to ensure that they do not use any illegal substance.
She however commended the state government for building a befiting swimming complex for atheletes noting that the facility will be continually used to train and retrain sportspersons.
