Omo-Agege Vows to End Delta Pensioners Plight If Voted Into Power

Delta State Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 general election and Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege has vowed to settle all pensioners owed by the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration, if voted in to power.
Omo Agege who disclosed this at a town hall meeting held at Asaba, with some aggrieved workers in the State, under the aegis of Concerned Civil servants/ Workers said pensioners welfare will be among the top most agenda of his administration when he assumes office as the governor.
The APC gubernatorial candidate expressed sadness over the victimization of some civil servants for supporting APC saying that “as a party we are determined to stop the stooge of third term been instituted by Okowa led administration”.
Chairman of the group, Comrade Togene Festus, however assured all the party’s candidates of their support, adding that they believe Omo-Agege can give Delta civil servants qualitative leadership and restore their lost glory.
He therefore enjoined all civil servants in the state to get their Voters Card to enable them vote out the oppressive and intimidating nature of People’s Democratic Party PDP in the state.
In attendance of the meeting were APC Stalwart, Godwill Orubebe, DG campaign Council, Omeni Sobotie States Chairman, Augustine Izakpo,coordinator campaign council, Tony Nwaka House of Rep Candidate Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency, Comrade Mike Okeme former NLC Chairman Delta State, Dr Anthonia Ashiedu, Faith Majemite, Paulinus Akpeki and a host of other dignitaries.
