Ezewu Urges Journalists on Balanced Reporting 

Delta State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu has called for greater synergy between  media organizations and the Ministry of Secondary education for the  publicity of its activities.

Mrs. Ezewu made the call on Thursday August 22nd 2024, at the monthly Congress of Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel (ICC)of the NUJ, where she appeared on its platform, “ICC Mirror”, at Asaba.

Represented by her media aide, Mr. Jude Bruno, the Commissioner stated that the media is capable of enhancing publicity  of the numerous programmes, initiatives and goals of Governor Sherrif Oborevwori.

Speaking on the Ministry ‘s ongoing projects, Mrs Ezenwu said “As soon as that starts, the media will be visiting the sites to see what the ministry is doing and to access the level of works being done by the contractors”.

She stressed the need for balanced reportage of issues to avoid tension in the State and nation.
just as he commended the media for holding public officers accountable to the people.

He however pleaded for constructive criticism than destructive ones and blackmails.
